The evening class for the diamond stone workers at Mariapuram area was formed to a L.P. School in the year 1979.  This school was started in the same name of the Mother House – Mission Home L.P. School.  The steps for the construction a new school was started in the year 2015.  The foundation stone was blessed for the new school on October 1, 2015 and the construction was started on April 24, 2016.  The school which was constructed with the full co-operation of the public was blessed on October 1, 2016.  Prof. C. RavindraNath, honourable Education Minister of Kerala, Adv. V.S. Sunilkumar, honourable minister for agriculture, Adv. K. Rajan, Ollur M.L.A. participated in the public meeting of the inauguration of the school.  

Considering the achievements in the field of extra-curricular activities, this school was selected as one of the best schools in Thirssur District during 2019.  In the academic year 2017-18, this school was scored the award of “Swacha Bharat SwachaVidyalay” of Human Resource Ministry of Central Government, Best School Award for the vegetable farming, Best H.M. Award and Best Teacher Award (3rd place).  It is admirable that It was selected as the Best Primary School in India.
