St. Zacharias Home is the house of the Congregation to remember their founder of the Msgr. Zacharias Vazhappilly. St. Zacharias Home was funded for the residence of the Brothers who are serving at Nirmala Technical Institute on June 06, 1976. In the initial stage Brothers were living in the go-down of the Institute.  With the hard work of Rev. Bro. Gabriel Pazhayattil a separate building was put up for Ashram and Inaugurated on 1978

The four acre of land where St. Zacharias Home is situated was the second land donation of Chevalier Augustine Akkara to the Congregation. In a special circumstance MMB Generalate was functioned at St. Zacharias Home from November 1979 to February 6, 1983.  The Postulancy formation of the candidates also functioned here for some years.

Abhaya Sadan, the home for the destitute aged men, was founded in the old building of the St. Marys art studio in the premises of Mission Home, Mariapuram as the Golden Jubilee memorial of the Congregation on December 01, 1997.  Beginning with 5 destitute aged men the institute slowly developed and later shifted to St. Zacharias Home. The new building for Abhaya Sadan was blessed on June 12, 2004.  During the last 25 years, more than 100 aged men have enjoyed their last days here. At present 30 inmates are living here peacefully.   

The institution is run by the sponsorship of different parishes, pious associations, clubs and well wishers. Presently Bro. Sunny Pallippurathukaran is serving as the Superior and Manager.
