Most of the brothers who are working in the Northern Province - Assisi Province - of MMB are from Kerala. At the time of erection of the province it had no houses in Kerala and brothers were having the problem of staying when they were coming for home holidays. Hence the Province took steps to establish one house in Thrissur. 2001 they took a rented house at Vettikattiri, near Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur. It functioned as Mission House and the house for the initial formation of the candidates recruited form Kerala. Later a land was purchased with the financial assistance from MMB Generalate at Kallamkulam, near Pzhayannur, Thrissur. The house was shifted to the existing building of the new premises. New house was constructed and the same was blessed on October 04, 2005.

Some more years the formation house functioned there and slowly, it completely shifted to Bhopal. Now it functions as the Mission House of the North Province. Rev. Bro. Thaddeus Arackal serves as the superior and Rev. Bro.Biju Vettukattil as the member.
