Assisi Boys’ Home and Assisi Technical Institute is the mission venture of the St. Thomas Province of the Malabar Missionary Brothers in Andhra Pradesh.  The Ashram was blessed on December 22, 2002 by Rt. Rev. Dr.JohnnasGoranthala, bishop of Kurnool in the place given by the diocese.  On 16-07-2022 Assisi Technical Institute was blessed by this bishop near by the Assisi Nilayam, Pathikonda.

Rev. Fr. Joji, vicar of Pathikonda Parish laid the foundation stone for the Assisi Boys’ Home on January 01, 2003.  This Boys’ Home is meant for the poor children who have no chance to get education.  Now 75 children from 1st to 10thstandard getting education with the help of this institution.   Though there is financial crisis, with the providence of God, this institute moves forward.  Rev. Bro. Alfred belong to Don Bosco religious community serve here as the in-charge.  In a small scale there is agriculture and poultry.  Under the leadership of Brothers Johnson Kanimangalathukaran and Jain Vadakkedath, this centre is functioning successfully.
