The golden jubilee of House of Providence, Irinjalakuda, was celebrated solemnly by the local people. Considering the lack of facilities at House of Providence the request of the locals. Bethsaida Bhavan was started at Chellor on 3rd July 1999 in the existing small house of the land. Bethsaida is meant for the destitute aged men who have nobody to look after. Bethsaida is not an orphanage, but a home of love for the needy senior citizens to spend their last days peacefully in satisfaction. Later a fully fledged building was put up for Bethsaida with the kind cooperation of the diocese and the local people. The new building was inaugurated on February 10, 2015.  It is done by the hard work of Bros. Gabriel Pazhayattil and Vianny Pookoden. The chapel was renovated on March 21, 2018 by Bro. Alphonse Peedikayil.   

As the tradition of MMB the institution is run by the support of the parish and locals. Every month the members of “Mathruvedi” of the parish clean the institution and surroundings. Bethsaida is getting the support of the people of good will surrounding us in all ways. Now Bethsaida is led by Bros. Sabu Thanniplackan & Bins Mundankavil.
